First Leaf has these skills having assisted rural property clients in complex real estate transactions resulting in nearly $38 million in sales in the last three years alone. 


Bob Gregg

Bob has been brokering vineyard and land real estate since 2008.

Not satisfied with conventional methods in real estate brokering—or in any other business he’s pursued—Bob believes in constantly innovating to provide service well beyond the norm. This involves being a keen observer of markets and identifying real needs. He has applied this philosophy to career pursuits over 25 years in business.

Prior to entering real estate in early 2008, Bob brought innovation to the business of securities trading, becoming a self-taught stock trader and entrepreneur in 1995. While developing a proprietary trading methodology, he built a trading firm with offices in four major US markets with 75 traders at its peak.

Bob has been developing skills in sales, marketing and customer relations since early in his career in Silicon Valley, where he spent nearly a decade working with top firms including Microsoft and Apple. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon.

David Carciere

David Carciere has a Bachelors of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He received his Masters Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate at the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University. At Mays, he worked under Dr. Charles Gilliland, research economist at the Texas A&M Real Estate Center, researching and coauthoring a number of articles on the Economics of Texas Real Estate and Rural Land Markets.

Upon graduation in 2005, David returned home to Sonoma County and joined Vice Appraisal Company, specializing in the valuation of agricultural properties, primarily vineyards and plantable vineyard land. He focused on the valuation of agricultural properties exclusively until January 2010, when he partnered with Bob Gregg to form First Leaf Land Acquisitions.

Laura Curran

Laura is a sales and marketing professional who recently received her real estate license and joined First Leaf as a broker’s assistant and marketing strategist for client properties.  She has held numerous marketing positions in high-tech and consulting firms with an emphasis on marketing at the retail level.  Her most recent sales and marketing position was as business development manager for a renowned large-scale Napa artist.  Her role included creating and executing a strategy to drive awareness for the artist’s services to potential clients, including Architects, Designers, Art Consultants and individuals.
