Bob has been brokering vineyard and land real estate since 2008.
Not satisfied with conventional methods in real estate brokering—or in any other business he’s pursued—Bob believes in constantly innovating to provide service well beyond the norm. This involves being a keen observer of markets and identifying real needs. He has applied this philosophy to career pursuits over 25 years in business.
Prior to entering real estate in early 2008, Bob brought innovation to the business of securities trading, becoming a self-taught stock trader and entrepreneur in 1995. While developing a proprietary trading methodology, he built a trading firm with offices in four major US markets with 75 traders at its peak.
Bob has been developing skills in sales, marketing and customer relations since early in his career in Silicon Valley, where he spent nearly a decade working with top firms including Microsoft and Apple. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Southern Oregon University in Ashland, Oregon.

David J. Carciere is a principal at First Leaf Land Acquisitions. His scope includes sourcing, analyzing and presenting buy-side opportunities, as well as providing post-close asset-management, to the agricultural investment managers, and vertically integrated wine-producers, that First Leaf represents. On the sell-side, he provides land-owners with advisory services, including asset valuation, and a direct-line to the wine-industry and ag investment community for the disposition of agricultural assets.
Mr. Carciere also has first-hand experience on the wine-production side with his family’s label, Suacci Carciere Wines, as well as on the grower side operating the Donnelly Creek Vineyard in Anderson Valley. Knowing the industry from all sides gives him a unique perspective when evaluating potential vineyard, and vineyard development opportunities.
Prior to co-founding First Leaf, David was a California Certified General Appraiser with a focus on agricultural land providing a unique foundation for the market and asset evaluation.
Mr. Carciere holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Industrial Engineering from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo. He also holds a Master’s Degree in Land Economics and Real Estate from the Mays School of Business at Texas A&M where he worked as a Graduate Assistant under research economist Dr. Charles Gilliland.
He is active in the California Association of Farm Managers and Rural Appraisers as well as the Sonoma County Farm Bureau.

Laura is a sales and marketing professional who recently received her real estate license and joined First Leaf as a broker’s assistant and marketing strategist for client properties. She has held numerous sales marketing positions in high-tech and consulting firms. Her role included creating and executing a strategy to drive awareness for the artist’s services to potential clients, including Architects, Designers, Art Consultants and individuals.
Laura is active in her community participating in the Sonoma Mentor Alliance and as founder of the Sonoma Valley Food Project.
